Click here to take survey Alaska Business PortalThe Alaska Business Portal provides an easy to use template for you to create your own online store. Training includes site set-up and management techniques as well as tips for marketing your business online. Training sessions are free and include free site hosting for 1 year, a reference manual, resource cd and technical assistance. For more information, contact the AMBIT program. Community Development Financial InstitutionAMBIT is in the process of becoming a Community Development Financial Institution. The goal of this initiative is to provide venture capital funding to individuals, entrpreneurs and small businesses in Alaska, especially those who currently have limited access to capital. Financial Literacy Training The AMBIT program uses the Oweesta First Nations Building Native Communities: Financial Skills for Families curriculum to work with communities in Alaska to develop foundational financial skills including asset management, basic banking and accessing capital.
